Well, we made it home safely, again. The trip was awesome! Many people were served in the eye clinic. Many heard the good news of Christ. There was physical therapy available by a PT from the US. She was busy all week helping patients with those types of ailments. This was a first for the medical clinic. Great addition for the week of serving. Several with glaucoma were identified and will be able to get help through the government health care. Several diabetics had diabetic retinopathy and were instructed on what to do to try to minimize vision loss by better controlling blood sugar through diet and exercise. Most can get medicine through their government health care. Though many have cataracts, there is no government provision for cataract surgery.
